From Plain to Dots

Hey guys!

Summer is here and I am currently working two part time jobs. Though I still dont know how I feel about having two jobs but Im happy I can afford to buy Christmas presents for my family and friends. Perks of earning money from two jobs is that I also get to save up for a plane ticket to the Philippines and Im kind of hoping to go sometime next year. Though next year I am hoping to travel a lot from the islands to Australia, taking it one step at a time. Also hoping to see Queenstown during winter next year.
My birthday is just around the corner. It hasnt hit me yet but I feel like I have more responsibility now that I work to earn money. Its a lot of responsibility in terms of helping out with financial stuff at home and also personal stuff. Theres also that part when you work so much that you feel like you deserve to buy something for yourself. Kind of like a reward. I am currently working on resisting to buy myself a reward due to the fact that Christmas is just around the corner and I do have to buy presents for my loved ones.

I also feel like this year went by pretty fast. Though im not gonna lie to you, 2014 was so good to me. New house, new phone, new car, 2 jobs, a caring boyfriend, 1st of uni done and dusted, met Kathniel in person and lost 12 kgs in 1 year and went down from 34% bodyfat to 18%. I couldnt ask for more. I have everything that I need and I have achieved my goals for 2014. I can't wait for new adventure to come next year. New year, New goals, I cant wait to show you guys that experience.

Anyways, heres an irrelevant outfit post :)

September Favourites!

Hello lovely readers!
Today, I decided to do something new and show you guys my favourite items that I used/bought during the month of September. This was also the month that I got employed again after a few months of just chilling. Earning means rewarding myself with something that I deserve.

As of now, I am a full time student in the morning and part time worker at night. The money I earn doesnt usually go towards shopping or other stuff. I have been saving up to go out of the country maybe sometime early next year. Maybe i'll visit my homeland, Philippines or just go over the ditch to see my friends and relatives in Australia.
The items that I picked are all different. For my age, Im still on that stage where I experiment when it comes to fashion. Some days you'll see me looking very classy. Some days, im wearing something casual. Im not too sure If I can pull some of the looks but for me I like going with the trend but as well as that, I dress my age and not too provocative.

Here it is! It is a mixture of fashion and cosmetics.

I bought these for my friend's 18th. At first I thought I wouldn't suit it but guess what, I wear it every now and then.

Fave pair of boots. This was on sale for 50% off at Novo. Best buy and because its black, its easy to pair it with anything.

ItsJudyTime Palette. Best palette ever. I bought these ages ago but everytime I go to an event, I use this eyeshadow palette to complete my whole look. And the colours are amazing and its affordable.

Brow Shaping kit. Dont get me wrong, my eyebrows are shaped nicely and I get a lot of complements for it. I just use this kit anyways to fill up the gaps. Can you tell I like using this product?

Mac Lipstick in Media and BH Cosmetics Lipstick in Moody Merlot. I love dark coloured lipstick. And these two are my favourite out of all the shades that I have. Im actually so happy that I didnt lose my Mac lipstick. I thought I did at one point. I found it after a month.

Lovisa 2 pack choker. Lovisa is quite pricey for me but they have everything that I need and the quality is good. Im not really a jewelry person nowdays but I really wanted a choker as they are trendy right now.

I went shopping one day and decided im going to shop for stripe clothing. And this one was my favourite. I wore it once and I love it!

When I first saw this in store, I went to grab my size straight away. And because its spring right now, I thought I'd also purchase a floral top since I dont own any.

Bohemian Feels. I love Vanessa Hudgens and for me she is the queen of Coachella. I love this bag. I went inside the store to hide and I came out with these. But thanks to the boyfie for buying it for me. This is definitely one of my favourite bag.

Comment below on what you guys think!

Love lots,

Everyday go-to make up

Hello readers!

I have been getting a lot of comments about my make up around uni and just in general and I do post photos of me with make up on but sometimes I go out to places without make up. I have nothing against people wearing make up and such but for me, in my own opinion, make up doesn't have to be an everyday thing. I understand why some people have to put it on everyday but for me, I don't really go out with make up on everyday. Reasons are because when I do go to uni and I have to go to the gym afterwards, I don't put make up on because if I'm going to workout, I don't really need to put any on if I'm going to sweat anyways. But when I do go to the gym but have to go to uni beforehand, I just apply BB cream just to even out my skin tone. I use Garnier BB Cream in medium shade. Also, the another reason why I don't put make up on everyday is because I don't need to. If I'm only gonna spend a good 5 hours out of my house then why bother? BB cream is my best solution though just so I dont feel like my face is too naked and just incase I see people that I know, atleast I look decent.

I'm not going to be all cliche and stuff but I do love putting make up on. Just not everyday. And when I do put make up on, I am very specific about how I apply it. I'm not a make up guru nor a professional make up artist so these are just my everyday make up items that I need when I do put make up on.

  1. Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in Black (The Warehouse $14.99)
  2. Maybelline New York The Turbo Volume Express (It was a gift ^^)
  3. Revlon Nearly Naked Warm Beige (Farmers $33.95)
  4. Maybelline FIT me! shine-free foundation 115 & 330 (The Warehouse $22.99 each)
  5. ItsJudyTime Palette ( BH cosmetics website $9.99 USD http://www.bhcosmetics.com/judy)
  6. MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation (Hand me down yay ^^)
  7. MAC eye liner gel (Another hand me down)
  8. MAC Media (MAC store $40)
If you're wondering why I have two FIT me foundations in two different shades, its because I use it for contouring. Its actually pretty good and the foundation itself is easy to blend, I can use either a sponge, a brush or my finger. Either way, it works fine.

Best purchase that I've done so far. The wait was long but worth it. Its very affordable too. I'll do a swatch soon.
